It really depends on the Dj. The Scene Dj's here in Las Vegas and the ones i delt with in Portland are all pretty jaded, when it comes to the music, but we tend to be very welcoming to new individuals, and want to get people involved as much as possible.

BUT, the big thing about the scene is, people are not involved with it becasue it's the *in* thing, they're involved with it beccause they love the scene and the music. That level of elitism tends to carry over, but I'm willing to talk music and tunes with anyone.
